dlunas writes: Yeah, the voice acting his hilarious, but the content looks interesting. I just think they shouldn't have said anything about the Shadow Destroyer, just had it be a surprise for when people went through it the first time. Fri Nov 20 2009 12:37AM
Maelkor writes: I doubt it will be as cool as it looks. Nothing ever is when it comes to MMOs. Still I dont think it can hurt the game in any case. Fri Nov 20 2009 12:52AM
vboydjr writes: SO what you encounter your nemesis in an arena and not a mission? Fri Nov 20 2009 1:57AM
Ocean34 writes: Own the game This instance is already up on the private test server. This is -severely- needed in the game. For the endgame right now is 100% dailies. So it wins points for that alone. It was actually quite fun, too. However, the nemesis's play a small role, theyre very minor. You go and fight each of them, and theyre not even the centerpoint of the fight. Anyone can solo them, the center point of the fight is the half dozen Master Villian [Tough]'s surrounding him. (Think Elite mobs) They all link. Theyre the hard part, the nemesis is pathetically easy. Shadow destroyer, horrible voice acting and all, is actually a generally difficulty fight, atleast by CO standards. I was impressed he was more than bumrush-and-deal-as-much-damage-as-possible-quickly. There are actual factors in the fight you have to plan for. You -actually- need a tank. Fri Nov 20 2009 3:02AM
solareus writes: Cryptic is doing well. They seem to be pushing forward with solid ideas on both titles :) Fri Nov 20 2009 5:06AM
tyanya writes: As ever Cryptic get the supeficial's spot on but continue to offer zero mechanical variety, zero involvement and comprehensively miss the point on every other important level. What was needed was something that developed the sense of involvement, that fuelled and built upon the rivalry and association between you and your Nemesis (or Nemeses' in group scenarios), ie generate a real immersive experience instead of being what it turns out yet more irrelevent and arbitrary content blatantly existing as a timesump and with no effort made to integrate with theme or world. Another missed oppertunity. Fri Nov 20 2009 8:48AM
remyburke writes: Looks cool. Ok, Cryptic. Just 4 more new zones, a new instance for every 10 levels, and new objective-based battleground arenas and I'll resub. Ready?.......................go. Fri Nov 20 2009 9:44AM
AngelBurst writes: Hate to say it, but this game has a lot more work to do before I even bother to look at it again. I log in now and then, but it just feels the same. I'm afraid I may never like it, because I'm just not a fan of the Champions world. It just seems so dated, and reminds me of a bad sunday morning cartoon in the 70'. THe engine is great, the graphics look really good, but the content is killing it for me. Fri Nov 20 2009 10:34AM

OReardon writes: MMos don't start at 5.0. I have played more than 20 mmos over time and I think Champions is doing good starting off. If anyone remembers pvp in WOW was based on dueling at first. All of these games coming out who have a seperate component are already far ahead of the mega refined older MMos. Thu Nov 26 2009 3:14PM
