DarkPony writes: I LOVED ASZHARA! Used to be real nice for mining and fishing ... back in the days. Loved the fact that it was a quiet zone. Tue Sep 22 2009 4:50AM
Darkholme writes: Good interview, nothing new really, but still good. I agree with DarkPony, I love Azshara, and generally prefer Kalimdor over Eastern Kingdoms. I'm going to miss the quiet in Azeroth when Cataclysm comes actually... Tue Sep 22 2009 5:22AM

TheMaelstrom writes: They need to simplify talent trees? Really? FFS how much more simplistic are they going to make this game? I'm not saying I'm a hardcore min/max'er, but geez man. C'mon. WoW talent trees haven't felt like the choices were "important" or "tough" since they started allowing paid respecs. Tue Sep 22 2009 10:20AM
Vizza writes: TheMaelstrom to me it sounded more that they would allow more choices in talent trees. Currently there are way too many spells that you have to get, and with the increasing power of spells in the bottom of talent trees after each expansion I'm happy they've decided to make a change. I'm also an azshara lover, not for the mining or fishing, but for the nagas on the strand. Excellent place to lvl up, and in vanilla wow getting a golden pearl from a clam was so exciting. I'm rich! OnyxBMW writes: Agreeing with Vizza, and past interviews/comments/etc, it seems like they're simplifying the talent trees from basically being core crap you need to make an individual tree's abilities useful, to making it so that talent tree's talents did something fun, but not wholly necessary, like the whole +1% dps example. In fact, this new system allows for more balance in the trees, since each talent tree's mastery will offer a fixed net benefit, and everything else (should) just be flavor. That said, they said that about the original talent trees, and look where they ended up anyways. Tue Sep 22 2009 5:11PM

Alienovrlord writes: Nice to see they're fixing the worst zones in the game. I'm surprised he didn't mention Silverpine Forest. They also need to make sure that they fired the idiots who where behind those zone designs. Or at least make sure they're not in charge of anything important ever again. Wed Sep 23 2009 12:32AM
