FoM hasn't gone away and come back multiple times over the years because it was a quality experience, quite the opposite in fact.

But, the staff was bad enough to make me never play this game again. And I'm not the only one. There are hardcore veteran players that are EXTREMELY popular both on the forums and in the game that have quit for this very reason. There is ONE guy pretty much developing this game and refuses to get help because of his giant ego. And trust me, this game needs A LOT of help. It's been around for years. The progress made should be MUCH more. 

The staff, extremely rude, unwilling to work with you, and will quite literally accuse you of just about anything to ban you if they don't like you, without any proof. 

The absolute worst game staff of any game that I've ever seen. 

It's like they gave a bunch of egotistic twelve year olds GM power.

If players never tried the game, then it is hard to explain to them how easy it is to get caught up into the  system that FoM has.

One of the few reason I don't play is time, and graphics. he game is not really a pop in do something an dleave, you have to patrol, sand guard at spots and ect. I would say since Shadowbane died, FoM is one of the best rpg pvp mmo's ever made.
