If this comes out near the same time EQ Next comes out, I don't think this game will stand a chance. I do like the combat they just announced though. What keeps me attached to a game is fluid movement, fast reaction time, responsiveness, and having plenty of abilities to throw down range.

This game seems to have all the combat likes, I just hope they speed it up because I won't pay monthly for this without giving EQ Next my money first.

@Reehay - While telegraphs will be toggle-able, I suspect most people will leave them on as they allow for the devs to do some crazy sort of attacks that would be hard to parse/labelled as "undodgeable" by players without them.

@drtack1 - I'm fairly sure it's because these videos are acted out. When playing at conventions, etc. it's all felt fairly smooth without the pauses you're seeing.

@raskull789 - Erm, closed beta started April 10, 2013 ( but is currently on hiatus.
