Gotta say I found the first Torchlight a bit on the boring side, but Max almost sold me on it here.

Well it's just $20 anyway, so what the heck...

why is she posting these vids now e3 was over like 1 week ago

BillMurphy writes: She's not posting them, we are. But on that note, we have over 30 features coming out of E3. No sense at all in posting them at once, since so many would get buried. We peter them out over time instead, with priority to breaking/big stories first. Mon Jun 18 2012 9:43AM Report

I found it funny how Max was taking jabs at D3 all the time, itching to say its name out loud, but grudgingly settling for "the competition".

On steam if you preorder Torchlight 2 you can play Torchlight 1 for free.  For 20 bucks it's a great deal.  I love this developer and their attitude toward the customer.

Great interview about a game I'm looking forward to playing!

Someone needs to let Pokket know that when doing these interviews she doesn't have to stand facing the "target". She should take a side stance similar to the Developer in this video and engage the camera.

People should support this company not the money hungry garbage companies like Blizzard (Activision).

Torchlight 2 - You buy it for $20 dollars you own it! Wow what a concept! You get your game, you can play offline singleplayer or with your friends on a LAN, you can play multiplayer online, great! No scummy RMT in this game ... what more can you ask for?

Diablo 3 - You but it for $60 dollars you don't own it ... you rent it basically. You can't even play the game you paid for off of the internet .... you can't set up a LAN with your friends .. you MUST play online because you don't own the game! Scummy real life money auctions  ... where is the competition? Why pay for this abuse?

The fact is simple: Pay the $60 dollars for Diablo 3 if you want to encourage this greedy behaviour or vote with your wallet and pay Runic Games for Torchlight 2 to show the game world what us gamers want for our money. It is your choice, your games at stake.

I remember the first and last time i played an ARPG and that was Diablo 1 on playstation 1. After that experience i never played an ARPG again, Disliked them with passion. I skipped all of them afterwards and i also skipped Torchlight 1 all the way. I looked at Diablo 3 and saw it looked nice but im not paying 60 bucks for a point and click adventure. So I found Torchlight 2 on steam and it actually looked fun.

For some reason i thought it had controller support and i was getting excited and watched many vids of TL2 beta. Honestly im disappointed that it doesnt have controller support (TL1 was on xbox so they can easily get the support for pc) but i went to steam and preordered TL2 and got TL1 for free.

As i said i never played an ARPG since Diablo 1 on PSone and now I am having a BLAST!!!!! in TL1 and cant wait for TL2 to release. I only wish they change their minds and add optional gamepad support for pc.

It's certainly something to look forward to. As others have said, for the price, how can you possibly go wrong? Already pre-ordered my copy...just waiting patiently for release.

Oh yes, next time give Pokket a microphone - could hardly hear her...

I played tl1 so i will play tl2, but i am worried about hacked / hacking of items in online play.

D2 is riddled with hacked items and i can honestly see the same with this game. (these guys programed d2)

Questions need to be asked to Runic about the measures they have taken to stop hacks / bots etc.

I am very suprised that Pokket did'nt pick up on this.
