i can only wonder how fast and consistent can Bungie be when it comes to releasing PvE content for this game. They wanted to delve into mmo waters so they must have an idea how bloodthristy the community can get while waiting.

At least the crucible will keep a lot of people busy after finishing the few PvE missions on each map.

Meh, I expected it to be more open and more massive honestly.

Single playable area per planet - I was like... seriously? I mean with that much dev money there's only one single area you can play on each planet.

So much for exploration.

Destiny gets just a plain and simple "Meh" for me. I want to see more open world content before I make both the financial- as well as the time- investment in this game.

Has potential though that's for sure, will definitely be keeping my eye on this title in the next couple of months.

This doesn't feel like an MMO at all to me. Where's the open world exploration and all the other bells and whistles you'd expect from a game with a 500m budget? can someone point me to a video that shows anything besides the hub, the "dungeon runs" and pvp?  Fri Aug 22 2014 11:58AM Report

I was expecting to be overloaded with advertisement from a portion of that, but really it's been level and not over the top. PERHAPS the $500mil is being used for future content development? From a quick glance it seems the game they made is in different elements of the mmo genre.

Story - which I'm guessing is VO

Pvp - instanced not sure about open world

Co-op - small raids

Open world - exploration/pve and possibly pvp

I think what they did was basically made a open world game that has exploration, but then made everything themeparked with pvp and story as seperate entities. Which is not bad depending on the open world and ofc the story.

Something like this sounds like they cut out the side questing and tried to ineast replace it with open world pve - dynamic questing?

Doesnt seem to be a list of bulletin points explaining with enough details.
