This is a short video on how to fish in ESO. It is meant to be informative and humorous. I hope you enjoy. Watch out for a few innuendos.

@Mad

Fishing in the game or the video about fishing?

I made the video because people asked me to.

Fishing is in the game because it's pretty much a staple of every MMO.

I like fishing in MMO's but what I like to know is can we use the fish?

Most resources/items have info that tells what it can be used for. Fish don't as far I could see. Or could it be I catched the wrong fish?

Anyone with more info on this?

I agree with what someone said above. These small features in a game are really what flesh out an MMORPG. Violence and non-stop combat is not what these games were made for...  Not everyone will appreciate this stuff, and that is seriously your loss, but we probably look at you just as awkwardly going 'How can you want to be so violent all the time? Doesn't that get boring?'. We get crafting, and fun -not so important fluff that makes the game all the more enjoyable and immersive to us!!! Hell, it's an indirect addition to lore/story that keeps us interested.. I mean, you don't wake up everyday thinking 24/7 'I'm going to punch my neighbor in the face!'

lol :)

I liked the point that the player escapes from Coldharbor wearing rags but magically has a fishing pole, also a mining pick, and a wood ax.

I was wondering what to do with the fish also, like someone above asked.  I haven't found any fish recipes.  You just sell them like this video suggests?

There are achievements for fishing and the fish do sell fairly well if you have stacks. Having only fished in the 1st areas I didn't see any fish as cooking mats but not definitive.

Initially I was really raring to go for fishing but after the time I spent in it, I think it would be something for me to 'go back to' when I've gone up a few levels and want to be in game, maybe helping out folks in chat but not actually questing. Half idle time perhaps. Pop in a movie or show and fish away.

I did a lot of fishing and the only discription i found on them was trophy and bait but i didnt try the live bait fishing yet so maybe you can catch bigger and more usefull with the fish bait you can catch .

Maybe the trophy ones can be put on your house wall when you can own your own house.

Wow, what a completely useless video.

You need to add some things to it:

1. Is there any skill progression for fishing?

2. Is there any reason to go fishing besides making money and occasional crafting bags? Are any of the fish useful in crafting?

3. Do the fish change at all depending on what zone you're in?
