What specs did that pc have? If I can get that crisp look out of my Asus g75vx I'm all set then for the next 10years :-) I have a feeling my asus will be just fine. I had an alienware with a 680m and this asus has a 670mx it doesn't look any different in every game I play I don't notice a difference. In fact the only difference is this pc is super quiet and more comfortable for long gaming sessions.

 

That video did it for me. Wildstar is on the top of my list. I thought about selling my pc after all the E3 news with the new consoles, but Wildstar is the one game I'm looking forward to above all the rest.

The combat looks fluid, animations are good, combat looks good, I like all that he had to say there too. Skill vs skill really catches my eye. Jack of all trades catches my eye too. I know from playing so much wow, that the art style will not be exhausting to me like so many games have become with their attempt to create the most realistic look. Been looking for that game outside of wow to really sink my teeth into and this is shaping up to be it more and more. Let's hope they don't botch it all up with their hybrid payment model. Please just open the gates up and let me sub.

This is one of those games where you have to buy it on day one to get the enjoyment of world pvp.

If there is that many wow devs as people claim then they should see a mile away the implications of having both Instanced and World pvp as dual feature sets. Being that, Eventually Instanced pvp will kill world.

  this sounds discouraging, because before they would say, "yes" but also add in something like, " ...but also, it's ready when it's ready." This  "new" phrasing leads me to think they may be pushing back. I sure hope not, because I am SUPER excited and EAGERLY AWAITING this game to come out!

I have to say as long as there is more to do in the game than just "instance-run" be it raid or dungeon, I may end up a long term player.

To put it into comparison, I hope it plays like WoW did for me at release of The Burning Crusade, before it became such a heavy reputation grind game.

Some thoughts.

- Shares a similar artistic style as WoW

- Uses the same quest icons as WoW

- Lots of "quests" clogging up the quest tracker. Quests should be long and epic and few in number. What he's doing in the vid looks like menial tasks meant for the local guard.

- Characters seemed to be leaning to the right while moving.

+ combat looks entertaining

+ group dungeons are carefully designed to ensure challenge and minimal boredom/repetition

 

This is the first time I've even looked into the game, and I only did this time because it's E3 coverage and was on the front page. I'm not impressed so far, because the game carries to many elements that I don't like in MMO's, such as quest grinding.
