The team at Vitrium, the company that most recently took over Horizons: Empire of Istaria have changed the name of their game simply to Istaria.

- I played this game when it was first launched it was fun but at the time I liked WoW alot better... so I canceled and whent back to wow then last year I tried istaria again and it was the same as when it launched nothing was rly upgraded had a poor community and CSR team. The game wouldn't allow me to cancel my account so I got billed for a extra 2 months before I had to just contact my bank and have them too stop the game from taking money out.

- This is a Crafting game with a little bit of adventuring thrown in. 99% of all patches or added content will do with crafting so dont expect a grand adventure here..

- I was hoping I'd find a new RP game but this isn't it. i'm too spoiled by the new graphics to get passed the beginning of this game. The graphics are old and clunky. The game is slow to load and the text is very small to read for quests etc. I don't know how the RP is as I never got far enough to find people. So I will not badmouth it other then to say if you are used to the new graphics in most games you'll be really disappointed with this game.

Horizons, a game that has changed ownership a number of times in the last year has changed again, This time though it's a company of mostly former Tulga Games folk running the show, fronted by CEO Rick Simmons who takes the time to talk to Carolyn Koh about the change and what it means.
Billing Issues Not Resolved

Virtrium has announced on the Horizons community forums that they have been unable to resolve lingering billing issues with EI. They have apologized to players, and have prepared a guide for players who need assistance resolving issues.
Rebirth of Horizons

GamersInfo.net is reporting that Horizons, an MMO which has spent a significant amount time in development limbo, is poised to make a comeback under the new management of Virtrium.
