Guild Wars Overview and Recent Content

Guild Wars Prophecies is the first entry (or "campaign") in the Guild Wars series. Originally released in 2005, the game was a stylish, robust offering and notable for being free to play without any restrictions or item shops with the purchase of the retail box. The game features six core classes, a PvE component containing 25 storyline missions, and a PvP component. With the level cap at only 20, players could reach it rapidly or even start new characters for PvP at the level cap and fully trained.
