EverQuest News - Return to Everquest Part III

In today's installment of his continuing Return to EverQuest series, MMORPG.com writer Phil James confesses to being an 'alt-o-holic' though usually just one per game. But Phil has broken his tried and true rule: He's got two alts on EverQuest. Read more about Phil's alts and how he came to this lowly state. Talk about it in the comments!

I now have a rule: one main per game. This means that if I want to try out a different character class, I get to do it in a whole different setting. In WoW I have my Orc warrior, EQII is the home of my Templar, I played a melee DPS in Age of Conan. You get the idea. So it pains me to tell you that I’ve abandoned the character I’ve been working on in EQ and made two alts.
