The rumor mill is spinning at full force with a 'leaked' document that seems to indicate that Blizzard will release Diablo 3 on January 17th. This ostensible release date comes via GameFront.com editors who mined information from a blog that has been the home of several leaks that have been vindicated over time.

It was only in late September that Mike Morhaime said that Diablo 3 will be released in early 2012, regretting that the Q4 2011 release had to be pushed back. If the information in the image leak is factual, that means Blizzard would have switched to its tentative backup release date of January 17, 2012.

Still, why no announcement?
