Heroes of Three Kingdoms News - "Campaigns" System Detailed in Latest Video Diary

Posted by Michael Bitton on Jul 09, 2010  | 1 comments in our forums

Perfect World Entertainment's Heroes of Three Kingdoms will be hitting closed beta next Tuesday, July 13, and PWE has released this latest video to introduce players to the game. In the video, HOTK Product Manager AJ Potter gives us a primer on the Three Kingdoms era of Chinese history.

As it's name would imply, Heroes of Three Kingdoms is set within the highly romanticized Three Kingdoms era in Chinese history, and players who appreciate that period of history can look forward to interacting with key figures of the period such as general Liu Bei across over 75 scenarios based on actual historical events and battles in the Three Kingdoms era, and this is known as the game's "Campaign" system.

Players can look forward to varied objectives and the ability to participate in pivotal battles as part of the Campaign system, and for those of you who aren't into that whole story thing, you'll be rewarded with emblems at the completion of any campaign. Emblems, of course, can be traded for phat lewt at key NPCs.

Head on over to the official Heroes of Three Kingdoms website to find out more about the game or to register for your beta key in anticipation of next week's test.
