First launched in 2001, RuneScape Classic has been on the scene for ten years now. Jagex has just announced that players will have one last chance to walk down memory lane in RuneScape Classic from September 15th to 29th.
When RuneScape 2 launched in 2004, Classic became an occasional visitor for those waxing nostalgic for the 'good old days'. To celebrate the game's tenth anniversary, the dev team has decided to open the doors to new players one last time. Folks logging in on the specified dates will be able to create an account and can continue to play RuneScape Classic whenever it is available.
The goal is, according to developers, to give players a chance to see how far the game has progressed since its original launch. Additionally, those logging into the Classic version of the game will receive a Classic Cape and Hood.
