Please tell me these are Euro (although i doubt it)

I have the EU client and this is the only key I have so im hoping it's an EU one

You must be located in North America, Australia or New Zealand in order to qualify for entry into the Warhammer Online beta.

I hope any staff at mmorpg.com could confirm this. Theres alot of WAR hungry guys in EU that will take keys and get nothing (and alot of US guys will be left out).

Maybe state what area it is on the "get-key" page?

It's not really that big of a deal getting into the beta. I mean maybe a month or two ago, but the game is going to be released in 2 weeks. :P

For those of us who haven't gotten to play the game yet, Hardy, it'll be a great chance to experiment with the classes and find the one we like before everything goes live

Thanks for releasing more keys, MMORPG/Fileplanet... I was sad yesterday when I got home from the pub to see there were no keys left.

You shouldnt drink so much then you wouldnt have trouble finding your keys.

I gave my key to my friend to convince him to buy the game at release. If your already in like I was this could help you do the same.

Just got my key and i am in EU.

Just ran all the activating process... acount etc... load the beta client and it just says:

"Starting Product Patch..."  and doesnt do anything else.

Are we able to beta test right now ? Or it will be up in a few hours ?

So I get my key and I click the link to get into beta, but I go to a page that tells me to input a code in a window.  The code reads "Invalid Code".

Down below it says if you can't see the code, your computer is blocking it.  I have completely disabled Mcaffey and even turned off the processes but still I get the same thing.  Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

I also changed internet security to low and disabled pop up blocker.  Gonna keep trying some other stuff and hope I get lucky.

If you have Firefox make sure that if you have Noscript you allow java at mythics site, or else you won't see the stupid code that drops botting or whatever it's for.

Still not working for me.

I am using internet explorer.  I have done the following:

1) uninstalled antiviral software, McAffey

2) turned off pop up blocker

3) turned off windows firewall

4) under internet options, security, I have placed settings to low

Any other ideas? I keep getting the invalid code message.  I don't see a lot of other people complaing about this so I must be doing something stupid. 

 Well, I am now using the browser Safari and it seems to be working, so maybe it was something to do with IE.

But am I to understand you have to pay for a fileplanet account to download?  I am a registered member already but it seems like they want some money.

I dont get it i click on the link and all it does is send me to a page that tells me to register? How do i get the beta key?

Ok I finally got it to work.  No sub required but there is a 300+ min wait. 

If anyone else has similar problem for some reason Safari worked where IE didn't for me.

I need to lay down now...tired.

An open beta that everyone wants to get in: Check

A line up of more then 4 hours to download the client to get into the beta: Check

List several times that you don't have to wait if you subscribe to fileplanet: Check

:P They aren't being kind. They know people will pay for a month just to get the client faster. Good business. I was almost temped to, but I'm just watching futurama waiting. lol

Just another reason why mmorpg is a good place to get your mmo information. 

Somehow my wait jumped up to 400 min +.

Actually it originally was supposed to be 10,000 keys for MMORPG.com - then it somehow got cut back to 3,000 on Friday but this morning they threw the 7K balance my way.  I would not expect anything more though - but you never know ;-)

I just checked it again from the announcement in the news...it said there are 0 keys remaining...did my eyes decieve me?

Gee... this is the second time this happens while I'm asleep. I rocks to be European. Not only do we miss out on keys because of time zone differences, but we're stuck with GOA running the show as well. Maybe fate is trying to tell me that this is a dud to be avoided and not even worth the bandwidth, but I would have liked to at least see what the fanbois are raving about.

Wow, they went down fast!

Fileplanet is garbage, wait on downloads that are then corrupt. No way going to ever pay them (or anyone) for a beta (from long experience doubt that this is a finished product, remember the Anarchy online launch? World War II? Age of Conan?). Enjoy it if you can a working download and it runs.

Man.....I've been trying to download the client & fileplant has kicked me from queue 2 times already.......after waiting almost 12 hours!!!!

Is there another download site or is there a torrent for the client?

I've tried fileplanet and 2 different torrents.  Tried one torrent first, and woke up to it being 20% done with two days left, thought that was fine, it wasn't very fast.  Attempted fileplanet as the torrent went to 6kb/s...After several hours fileplanet started downloading, got to about 26% and then I was booted back to queue.  That was about 12 hours ago and my spot in line keeps getting worse.  I tried another torrent a little while ago and its been a steady 35kb/s. 

I'm guessing thats the best I can hope for.

can anyone one hook me up with a key please.

Meh, im a Fileplanet subscriber (for many reasons) so i had my key and the game down a week ago. Clean easy registration back then aswell. Why do people do things the very last minute? then again, not everyone is a subscriber either to Fp. But you catch my drift.

If I had known I'd get a beta key I would have downloaded earlier too, but since I didn't I wasn't going to waste precious hard drive space on something I likely wouldn't get to use.

So you just had to click to get a key? So people in europe got them that cant use and wasted them and or people with rigs who cant run it. Not to mention all the 13 year olds who will never buy the game just useing it for the free gameplay for now.... This has to be the worst beta ive ever seen MMORPG do and I have been a fan years before I finally registered... What happened to giving a shit about the player base testing your the game lol.... Sadly I read the news but thought it was a randomized shoot out to those registered to mmorpg didnt realize I have to click a link.

With 10000 keys do you really think they would of had a random drawing like they did with AOC?  The 200 keys AOC had was a pretty long list, 9800 more lines would be quite the scroll.

I'm sure there will be more, don't you worry.

Well im in the UK and i managed to get a key and register it with Mythic perfectly fine. So if this was US only does that mean I'll need to download the US client and scrap my EU download with the WAR OB Downloader?

If not and i've wasted a key I'm sorry
