GamersFirst has announced that Fallen Earth's transition to a free-to-play revenue model will be completed this week and that players will be able to enter the new iteration beginning Wednesday, October 12th.

The World Events System will also go live on October 12th which will give players the opportunity to participate in optional quests that "pop up around the world" that will lead to new missions and hard to gain gear.

Lastly, active and returning players will be rewarded with a brand new Spiked Chopper Veteran's Reward. The Spiked Chopper is designed especially to honor their support. Designed for the harsh landscape of the post-apocalypse, the Spiked Chopper allows players to travel from encampment to settlement in style while still fending off the occasional mutated beast or hostile clone.
