Don't hold your breath, i get the feeling its the same lucky bastards who get in on all the closed betas. I know a guy who couldn't really care less, hes well into a mmorpg atm and works a lot too... he got a beta invite to WAR and AoC

Elves look cool. Lighting realy did do wonders. The more they show the cool thing look about this gameI cant wait to see the final product and pay it.

Im not sure whats going on.. but WAR is in closed beta at the moment, 1 step away from open beta.. so why do they keep giving us "PRE-ALPHA" footage?

And the "lighting demo". ITS A FRIGGIN LIGHTMAP... QUAKE 1 HAD A LIGHTMAP! back in 1996... I hoped for more from this long awaited "lighting" and I am not impressed 1 little bit.

Well it already looks better than WoW even without the lighting effects. No need to feel jealous. 

 

 

 

Not jealous. as WOW looks great and has gotten better since release. but mythic was banging on about this lighting system for 6 months and what do they come up with... a lightmap... OOOoo.

It seems every post you make in WAR forums Cupertino is negative,  why then after months of this do you keep coming back? If the game doesnt impress you move on already.

You got me all wrong, I am very much looking forward to WAR.. im just giving my impression of a feature that was supposed to blow us all away but we get a very basic lightmap feature, its not even a feature... its expected in games today.  What next "revolutionary mouse control" 

I just think some people hype this game too much. it could sux big fat hairy ballz for al we know.

If I have taken the wrong impression from you, I am sorry but when your sig is a banner of your WoW toon and most (atleast the ones I have seen) of your posts slag the game in some way it can seem a little troll like. More so due to the fact that there is so much WoW vs WAR posts as the projected release date approaches. I am not a WAR fanboi, how could I be but I am a mythic fanboi and am more then aware that those of us who played mmorpgs pre-WoW make up a small percentage of the community as a whole now that wow has come along. So I will rise to the defence of Mythic in the belief that alot now playing mmo games dont know what the company has already done as well I believe that they know what they are doing, perhaps not to appeal to the millions but perhaps bring about what they had with DAoC on a larger scale... I know its a bit of a rant.
