Dungeons & Dragons Online News - Victor Wachter Moves to Cryptic

Posted by Dana Massey on Nov 20, 2006  | 7 comments in our forums

Victor "Sporkfire" Wachter, the Online Community Manager for Dungeons and Dragons Online, has jumped ship and landed at Cryptic Studios (City of Heroes/Villains, Marvel Universe Online) as their lead community manager.

"I am a huge fan of superheroes," Wachter told MMORPG.com, "and so working with the company that put the genre on the MMORPG map is one of the most exciting things to have ever happened to me. To be working on Marvel Universe Online makes it that much sweeter."

Wachter will be replaced at Turbine by current DDO Online Community Relations Specialist Ariel "Samera" Jaffee-Marks.

"DDO is going to be in great hands now that Samera is stepping up to run community relations," said Wachter. "She has always been the public face of OCR for the game and I am very proud of her."

MMORPG.com wishes both Jaffee-Marks and Wachter the best of luck in their new roles.
