Oh... cool I guess...

Interesting...I've been an Alpha and Closed beta tester for more than a year now, playing it here and there and its surprisingly a great game.  Although I havn't played it much the last few months, I fear the way the ecosystem is designed that a ton of stuff will go the way of the dodo once its released to the masses.  Especially so, the type that like to rush and be destructive for no other reason than to make things worse for other players.

Anyway, I'm quite surprised that no other developers jumped on the Feb 29th date becuase of its uniqueness.  I had orginally thought Blizzard was going to claim it for Diablo III, but what with all the changes lately I wouldn't be surprised if we get an April 1st date instead!

I've played it during beta and at one point a whole lot (surprisingly), even used two accounts. From what I've seen and experienced, I think this game would do better as F2P instead. I predict mainly Dofus players trying it out and then returning back to Dofus in a month or so. Don't see it getting many entierly new players.

This game has some great ideas, and it is fun to a degree, but it is lacking in some players at the moment.  You definitely can find people in the "1-20" area running dungeons and such.  But once you graduate and join a nation, it can be difficult to find a group to run any of the dungeons.

At least with the Sufokia nation, there is a seriouse lack of guilds, and it also seems that many of the top players like to act like "elitests" and call people noobs and generally be unhelpful.

Granted there are a lot of nice and helpful people, me included.  I am always one to give out as much information to anyone who wants it, because there is a bit to know.  As well as giving out extra gear I have that is taking up too much space.

So I hope with the actual game release, it will encourage people to play more, and possibly attract more players, because right now with the open beta I think people are afraid there will be a character wipe and don't want to invest time into it right now because why invest 40 hours if your characters are just going to be wiped?

Anyways, we will see how it goes!  I wish they would give an official response to whether there will be a wipe upon release or not!  (Because I personally would also like to know, so I don't keep spending my time playing/leveling up crafting/gathering skills for no reason!)

Anyone born on Feb 29th can tell you that it's the worst day for any type of anniversary.. :)

Lost my account somehow so since everyones going to get wiped anyways might as well create a new one and give it a go.

I have been playing a lot this past week & having a blast! I believe there will be a server wipe so I'm not playing as much right now. Very fun an addicting game, I didn't expect much from first glance. Now I wonder if it's going to be F2P w/ cosmetic item shop or subscription based.

its 6 bucks a month with a cosmetic item shop only has a lil bit ftp to try it out

Love the Final Fantasy Tactics / Tactics Ogre type gameplay.  I just hope it is not innundated with cash shop problems like its predecessor.
