Yeah. Follow the link in your e-mail. I made the mistake of clicking on the game-client Download Now! button on their site and downloading the EU version from there.

Downloader crashed twice in 10 minutes. That's all I have to see.

Pando was all I needed to see in order to choose to download the individual files instead of using the Pando uploader.

They use Pando as a downloader. Pando kills my wireless connection, so I can't use the downloader. They provide a manual dowload so I'll be using that, but I'm still disappointed.

Companies need to realize that Pando is a terrible product made by a shit company. Not a lot of hope for this game already.

Edit: And yes, I've sent them file dumps and emails requesting support in the past regarding my problems with their software. Never heard a damned thing back.

You can actually play using the EU client, you just need the launcher.xml file from the US install, or to change the one server line inside to read:

Disappointed to see they're using Pando.  It's as much of a hassle as PlayOnline was for FF11 for me.

Hope the game makes up for it.

No full download option in the US? In the EU we only had the option to use full download...

About Pando... I agree that publishers should NOT support this program and use other (.torrent) download alternatives. gPotato is one that distributes all their games with PDM as well, and each time I have downloaded something I have to remove PDM again and make damn sure it's gone...

They need to fix their log in system. I can't log into my account even though i registered it.

Lets hope they implement all EU updates as well so you guys in the US don't have the annoyances we had in CB where we could not do rhe 1st prologue mission (sensor probes were bugged), or more recently, where the Outer Nimbus had an extreme HUGE hostile NPC spawn and you simply could not enter it... We also had 2 fixes server side as well to prefent rare server crashes.

hey im curious .. whats you guys problems with pando . i only had one experience with it and that was with LOTR . it wasnt bad or atleast bad as crap installer that came with unchartered .

just looking for feedback on why and thatd probably help me to decide wether i go use pando or go for single file download

Nothing wrong with Pando itself, other than that it stays in your system and keeps uploading stuff to others, crapping your whole internet conenction to the speed of an old 2400baud modem...

basically, when you install a game that uses Pando to download, UNINSTALL it immediately after you're done downloading and nothing's messy happens...

yeah but like with lotr i just went into control panel and shut it down off and made sure exe was never running other then when game was up . thank you for feedback im undecided .

Pando auto-starts upon Windows boot. Best way to be sure it's gone is to uninstall it from the Windows program manager.

I just downloaded (and installed) DDO and I got Pando once again shoved up my... Accepted it, allowed once thought my firewall, and when DDO was on my system I uninstalled it. Best & savest way to use Pando IMO (other than not using it at all :p)

so for arguements sake after install is done of any game using pando , and you go to unistall pando , doesnt game require it to fire up or patch  . with it starting up w pc i just went into control panel and unchecked start up . either way yas got me avoiding it lol and d/ln single file(s for install .

where do you get the US download... I cant seem to find it?

Reizla: Yeah I hope they install all of those updates... I know we were downloading patches from EU folder.. same ones I downloaded while in EU CB.

About PMB, it was downloading slow.. I know it downloads from peers, it also eats up your bandwidth and unlike torrent programs, you cant modify the connections so some people get disconnected. I just used www.getright.com and downloaded all 4 peices and let getright que them up and download so it was like downloading one big file.

Akamai Net Session is another one to avoid/keep off your system. That one is harder to find because it runs hidden behind a svchost.exe session instead of listing itself in the Task Manager. It is also usually a stealth install. You will get no mention of Akamai on the website or during install.

yeah it was the same w horrible net marbel  , like i say i avoided it all and just went for single file download

I was referring to their website not the game server. I registered and activated my account but it still won't let me log in so that i can apply my beta code. I keep getting "Account name and/or Password unknown." even after retrieving my password.

I tried the game and i gotta say it reminds me of Freelancer soooo much! and that is one of my all time favorite games! looking forward to discovering more of the game content.
