All Lord of the Rings Online servers have been taken down in anticipation of the upcoming head start on the free to play edition of the game. Along with turning the game F2P, new content is being added and devs have finally revealed the name: Volume III, Book 2: The Ride of the Grey Company. There's so much coming in the way of bug fixes, skill balances, skirmish updates and more that you'll just have to read the full notes for yourself.

Over the course of Book 1: Oath of the Rangers, you brought word to Aragorn's kin of his need for them in the lands to the south, and the Grey Company was formed. Having sworn to protect the heirs of Isildur, the Dúnedain responded with all haste to the urgent message you brought from Elrond. They gather now in Rivendell and prepare to depart on their journey, and you are invited to travel with them!

I like the trash loot changes, i always got crazy when my bags got full in the middle of the wilderness with 10 looatable corpses around me.
Now we just need word on the EU launch. Codies are staying silent :(
The EU launcher news says it's starting on the 10th, like the US. We'll see if we get to play on the 8th aswell or not.
absolutely... inventory has always been once of my biggest complaints. This and the wardrobe should help alot. Now if they'll move reputation items to something more like the legendary relic system...

Thats what I meant - the early start. Also with server downtime they've said nothing regarding times. Lack of communication is certainly annoying!
I started the launcher and preloaded all of the stuff and am going to keep trying until it kicks through! WHOOT! :)
Nice new preloading screen too and Sauran's big eyeball on the launcher. :)
