Aion News - Assault on Balaurea: Features Video Podcast

This latest video podcast from NCsoft focuses on the new features coming to Aion as part of the massive Assault on Balaurea update scheduled to launch tomorrow.
Assault on Balaurea will raise Aion's level cap from 50 to 55, and introduces three new zones for players to explore. The new zones are replete with tons of new content as well, including eight new instances, and these zones also feature the new Windstream system, which allows players to traverse the zones in a much speedier manner by gliding through windstreams.

Here's to hoping 2.0 is a step back in the right direction.
remove the grind till max and this game would actually be pretty good
In the patch changelist they've increase the XP and Kinah rewards for ALL quests - pretty neat
i know kiki gonna try it out to see if they finally got it right plus the anti ganking features they added should help.
I quit because of all the ganking. Don't mind dying, but taking days to finish quests because of the constant ganking is just absurd.... Might go back and see if these changes help.
I've been playing for 2 weeks now (after cancelling my account 2 months after release) and it already has improved a lot since patch 1.9, so 2.0 will make it even better. Finally, the game is getting somewhere!
