League of Legends News - Paragus Review

In a new MMORPG.com blog post, Paragus takes a look at and reviews the RTS/RPG hybrid game, League of Legends. While not technically an MMORPG, Paragus has spent a lot of time playing League of Legends since the release of the competitive season patch. League of Legends is a free to play RTS / RPG hybrid that originally released in the latter part of 2009, but recently launched it's "Season 1" patch which introduces the start of competitive play with ladder rankings. While I normally don't write too often about non-MMO games here, I feel somewhat compelled to talk about this game for the sole reason that it has been getting a tremendous amount of playtime by me and many in my guild these last few weeks.

If by "best" you mean "second to HoN", then yes, it is best.
hon sucks arse, its just a skin for dota nothing else. lol is an independent game
that dosen't really change the fact that its a worse game, LoL is good if ur new to the MOBA genre, very forgiving and noob friendly, but once you feel that the game is to easy or not enough depth then you turn to HoN, with far more depth and not so unforgiving, one lost team fight can cost you the whole game, And yes i know its a "skin" for DotA but its still a better game in the genre, even good ol' dota is better then LoL will ever be.
I wouldn't say it's better this way.
lol... I've been playing League of Legends over the past week and its been tons of fun. Although I find it hard to believe anyone who had never played DoTA before would consider LoL to be newbish or overly easy. I go to check out HoN's website and the heroes have no abilities up, all videos are empty, the link to the replays brings you to a completely blank page... maybe the game is better, but League of Legends' website is much better. ahahaha what a joke
It really doesn't matter which one is "better" LoL is far more popular, and far more newbie friendly. The community is slightly better, albeit slightly. Most of the people who play DotA, HoN, and LoL are elitists who cannot stand people who are worse then them.

It does sadden me that they're offering a stat reset for $20...almost half the cost of the game XD.
Don't play solo ranked games, it will just make you hate the game and quit.
I've recently started playing this game and i find it tons of fun. I enjoyed so much that i decided to buy it.
