Global Agenda News - "No Elves" Line Up Video

Posted by Michael Bitton on Mar 11, 2010  | 12 comments in our forums

This live-action video continues the Global Agenda "No Elves" campaign as a victim aims to identify an Elf.

The elf is apparently guilty of "enchanting" the victim's "sacred meadow."

Watch the video here.

I also must warn you that this year one in five gamers will be accosted by an elf. If you're tired of it, go here.

Seems like the game might have a brighter future if they were concentrating on improving/enlarging the game, rather than spending money on ads that have next to nothing to do with the game.

Your statement makes it seem as if they are not, and that would be why it is false. And as a service to you, they most likely contracted the making of the video out. So, I am not sure why you think a bunch of programmers and database techs strapped on a camera and shot a trailer.

Do you think that perhaps the company contracted to do the video might, just might, have asked for payment?  GA already has a revenue system that has failed in the past, so one might think they would be a bit smarter with their money.

Having elves would probably HELP that game...after all, who wouldn't want to take a minigun to a group of elves?

Really?

That's news to...everyone, including High rez. What revenue system is that? Because, it was even announced before beta that they would not be charging a subscription til months later.

So, you are saying that a payment system, that has never been active, has failed?

Please share the koolaid. No one has been charged anything yet, other than the box that was the number 2 on steam for months now.

1) Subs are supposed to begin April 1st.  Originally they were supposed to begin in March, but that was pushed back.

2)  Fury tried the same system and where is that game now?

Looks interesting but sadly I don't see this game being anything other than a footnote in the MMO timeline.

Personally I think the "no Elves" ad campaign was stale before this ad went into production.

They need to promote what is in the game rather than what is not.

You may wish to read what you have written, and then again with common sence, becouse it dosnt back up the claim "OMG MONEY FAIL".

As High Rez seems to be very comfortable not collecting any subscription money for the time being, that is not the move of a company hurting for money. If you did a bit of research on who is making this game, you may understand why.

Fury died from a large number of things, the least of which was how they intended to gain money.

Your date, April first, was the plan out of the gate, and they have said MANY times they wont change for a subscription untill they feel the game is worth it, meanwhile play for free.

Now that this retarded derail by the conspiracy nuts has been laid to rest, that was a dam funny video.
