I have been watching this game and was trying to get into the beta.  My questions is why do you need a stress test if you have a lot of people in beta?

Most likely to stress the registration, login and character creation servers.

Having "lots" in beta does not mean much if they are not all hammering the servers at once.

775 posts and you're a novice poser? yeowch man XD. sounds like people should take what you have to say with a grain of salt. haha.

Is it true this game doesn't have pvp?

That is not true at all, PVP is one of the major focus points of this game.

You can take the user titles with a grain of salt, since it is based off how often you post and how consistently. You can have 10,000 posts but if you stop posting for a couple weeks you go back down to "Novice...", etc. It has nothing to do with quality of posts...

Because you aren't a file planet subscriber, and dont wish to pay for it to get into the beta does not mean the game is auto 'fail'. It just means they needed money, so they got paid by Fileplanet to do it.

Fallen Earth is a good, open world, skill based , Light FPS mechanic MMORPG , both skil based in way of atributes and skills YOU choise (no classes) as in skill based in way of aim and move.

Its a slow speed combat system for the snipers and high speed combat system for pistol/melee users.
The world is open but split in 3 secors. those sectors are Huge and take quite a few hours to cross on foot.

Crafting is time and node based, means you find  creafting materials by looking for node's , old card, junk, plants and alike. those nodes spaw in pre define area's randomly.  and each node gives you diferent material and quality is depended on luck and skill.
a wooden stump will always give a form of wood,  junk may give glass, steel, iron, cotton, fastners and so on.

Each items takes x amound of time, exsample:
a rifle needs 4 main componets who all need four or  five types of materials to make.
each componet takes like 2 mins and the rifle fabrication takes one min so in total you need nine minutes to craft that rifle.

Mutch like the Eve skill system, RL for vitural gain. the good this is that crafting can be done on the fly. you craft while you travel, run, fight. you just need the materials and que the items you wana make.
A car may take quite some time to make.

The combat system is based on RPG numbers and hit boxes. boddy/arms,legs and head. hitting in the boddy does medium dammage, in the head does alot of dammage. depending on skill (atributes in the weapon skill )and weapon itself you can be instand kills or 10 hits to kill.

Quest are strait forward, a general location marker on the map, go get this and go kill those Xtimes (or craft quest, go bring that here/tthere and make this)

PvP in low skill level is rare but as you get to the later sector(s) you will find more and more of it. the highest skill level of skill books ( book are needed to learn new craft skills or combat skills or use weapon skills) are gained in and around conflict town
these are open PvP zones, you can kil anyone you like, the cost is your standing whit the fractions of fallen earth.

its a 6 weel  system were each fraction has a  "nemesis" fraction and two "F* off i dont like you" fractions. ofcource you also got your "man your awsome and cool" fraction (were you got your cureent highest standing) and two  "hey dude,I like you" fractions

Im not happy whit the fileplanet Beta stuff, but if you have the money and are looking for that one diferent  mmo this is a good beta to buy yourself into.

Haha, Fileplanet exclusive...it would serve them right if they weren't able to get enough people to make the test worthwhile. Exclusives are retarded and self-defeating. It certainly alienates large segments of  your potential user base.

Can't say I feel alienated. It's only a stress test. I'm more interested in knowing what this means as regards release date. Looks like it might be soon.

I'm hoping for an August/September release, with Closed beta ending soon after this stress test, and open beta starting somewhere in july, and ending in August/September.
