Wizardry Online is a re-imagining of the classic RPG originally developed by Sir-Tech. Gamepot, Inc. and Sony Online Entertainment have brought a whole new MMO component to the series in Wizardry Online, which offers players hardcore gameplay and dungeon crawling amidst brutal traps and fiendish monsters.
A group of fans is making an effort to bring back Wizardry Online. Originally published in the west by Sony Online entertainment, Wizardry never found its footing and service was terminated in July 2014. According to information received, WO's developer, Suba Games, has taken notice. Petitions have been initiated in the hopes that Wizardry Online can make a comeback sometime in 2015.

Sony Online Entertainment has released a brand new video featuring a look at a new high level encounter zone that will unlock in Wizardry Online when the game goes live on January 30th. Called "The Underground Dragoon Ruins", the zone is filled with sneaky traps, tough monsters and wicked bosses. Enjoy!
Wizardry Online developers have announced that the official retail launch of the game will be delayed from January 16th to January 30th. Devs cite the desire to deliver "the most epic gameplay experience to our players".
This weekend is the final weekend for Wizardry Online open beta players to check out the game and assist with bug squashing. Servers will be closing on Monday, January 14th in preparation for the Wizardry Online retail launch on Wednesday, January 16th.
