Dragon Age: Inquisition

Dragon Age: Inquisition is the third installment in BioWare's Dragon Age RPG series. The game will blend features from both of its predecessors, and takes additional influence from games such as The Elder Scrolls v: Skyrim. From the use of the Frostbite 3 engine to a new armor system, a tweaked combat system, a multiplayer component, and even a new playable race - Qunari-- intend to keep things fresh for fans.

Players will take on the role of The Inquisitor, with the game's main plot set all over the world of Thedas and concerning a tear in the Veil that threatens the world itself. War between mages and templars will figure into this story. Certain characters from both previous games will make their return, with an announced nine possible party members to join the Inquisitor on his or her journey.

  • Expanded, More Open World | Giving players more freedom to explore, Dragon Age: Inquisition will take place in a world about five times the size of the entire first game's setting.
  • Customize Your Character Experience | Play as a Human, Elf, Dwarf, or the new Qunari option, then choose Mage, Warrior, or Rogue. Armor and weapons systems will give further customization options for Inquisitor and companions.
  • Transfer Previous Game Saves | Players will be able to use a tool known as Dragon Age Keep to transfer previous save files from the first two games and DLC in order to ensure continuity and possibly affect character appearances.
