The Hearthstone Winter Championship is set to kick off next weekend in the Bahamas. From now through the start of the competition fans would be able to choose one from 16 participants and get free card packs depending on their success. Even if your chosen player doesn't get very far, you'll still win one card pack from Mean Streets of Gadgetzan simply for voting.
Blizzard is preparing Hearthstone players for the Journey to Un'Goro expansion set for release in April. As part of the expansion's lore, a character named Professor George Herbert Doyle IV will be starring in a "short-form" web series, the first episode of which debuted earlier today. It was preceded by a text-based lore article of several of the good professor's journal pages.
Blizzard has announced the next Hearthstone expansion. As rumored, it is Journey to Un'Goro, taking place in the World of Warcraft location Un'Goro Crater. In a new video, Production Director Jason Chayes and Game Director Ben Brode introduce the expansion. New content includes 135 minions and spells along with new Elemental minion type for Murlocs, Dragons, Pirates and Beasts.
One of Hearthstone's well-known voice actresses, Lani Minella, has accidentally leaked the potential name of the game's next expansion: Lost Secrets of Un'Goro, an iconic location in World of Warcraft that is packed with prehistoric creatures. Her resume reveals she voiced Golakka Crawler, Pteradactyl, Anklesaur, Hydra and Brontosaurus.
The 2017 Hearthstone Championship Tour Winter Championship is heading to the islands, the Bahamas, in fact. The top four players from each region will take part from March 23-26, 2017.
The folks at GoodGaming.com have sent over this week's slate of tournaments for Hearthstone. Both EU and NA players can take part in events that feature prize pools between $250 and $1,500. In addition, the site is featuring a guide to "RenoMage".

Those Hearthstone players looking for a little more goblin in their lives will be happy to hear that the Mean Streets of Gadgetzan expansion will be launching this Thursday, December 1st. The expansion is already available for pre-order on the Blizzard Store. MSoG comes with 132 new cards, three new factions, a new board and much more.
Good Gaming has a trio of Hearthstone tournaments taking place this week. North American participants can take place in Series 2 for a $1000 prize pool or in Series 4 for $2500. European players have a chance at $750 in Series 4.
