Myself i've been playing Oceania Ragnarok Online (oRO) for about 6months i find this game so adictive in a good way the gameplay is sweet i do agree that when you are low lvl it is pretty stink but once your a decent lvl the game is awesome WoE would be one of the main reasons i play so fun :D rag FTW

 I've been playing iRo for about two months now. At first I thought it was cute and I was having fun, and it was addictive until the boredom truly set in. The leveling system is far too slow once you hit higher levels, and the added grinding aspect of having your characters be "reborn" and "transcend" so that you start from scratch all over again is simply a way for Gravity to extend the life of the game, waste your time, and bilk you for the monthly fee for as long as they possibly can. I don't really hold that against them, it is a business after all.

However, the game is so infested with bots that some areas are practically unplayable for the honest player who is actually present at the keyboard. This game was made to be exploited, giving the players certain items and skills that make it that much easier to bot, or to simply go afk while their pet fights for them, as the alchemist class is infamous for doing. When you must compete with other players as well as bots to get what tiny little bit of experience you can, it slows down the progression of your character immensely, and I was feeling a bit like a bot myself, truth be told. The recent double experience events were really the only thing that kept me playing, and once that was over, so was my addiction to Ragnarok Online.

offcorse , graphic in gaem isn't grate , but  ... i don';t know realy why i like it , mey be 'couse i like ANIME , maeb enother reason , but its realy FUN , and  prety interesting ( for me ) ,  Why do people like this terrible game?

    RO is a nice game man! It's simple, easy to play, but u got a lot of things to explore and many classes to create... and the clan wars are the coolest part of the game.

I'll agree with most of the peope that like it. This game is just different from other games. I understand the graphics suck, but they're comming out with Ragnarok Online 2, which is 3D. Either way, I played RO about 3 years ago. I play insanely for a month or so and then I stop. Yet I always find myself comming back to play RO 

well it depends on the peoples point of view. my friend actually got me invovle with RO! lol i still have the 30 day trials for iRO that i got at Anime Expo 04!

its it just such a great comunity altho it takes abit of tiem to understand what the perpose of the game is

This game is played over 30 countries, and it is just very fun to play okay? And don't say "terrible game" why do you say that, because you play Runescape and since that's so terrible you blame this game? How is this game so terrible, alot of people like it in gamespot.com. Look at their reviews. Also, mmorpg.com is bad at giving reviews and ratings, don't trust them too often.

Ah RO is a nice MMO, Even if the graphic isn't that good...
You got 2 job changes and after that you can reborn and after reborning you get a superior class tittle.
One of the nicest things in this game are weddings and addopting chibi characters =) .
Also the variety of char stats are so many taht i wouldn't even start to explain...
For example a monk.. can become an AGI monk, or an Asura monk. There are other possibilities too but as much as i know those two are the main two types of monks that can own asses. The first one got chain combo skills and alot of AGI, while the second one got alot of STR and INT . Also there is a nice upgrading system. Beside the normal upgrading to +x you can also put some mob cards in the equipment.
All monsters got their unique card effect. Some increases you ATK some HIT some adds a chance to blind the opponent and so on..

RO is highy addictive and graphics are really cute (for those who like 2d anime-style things) - that's why people like it.

Hey also, you idiots, I agree with that guy who said the graphics are really cute, it dosent have bad graphics, its just that way, its alright that way, I like it. it is a highly addictive game with superior awesome music an everything. learn some stuff you nooblet gamers.

well i love it because it is just a darn good MMO, you are probably one of those people who dont like 2d graphics ^^ RO is probably the best MMO out there, you just have to like anime to like the graphics

Cuz its popular, It´s a great game without the special 3 GFX, I like it because the society, and the social ppl within the game!

well yeah, however Ro is not just another clone like WoW, RS, Flyff and alot of other MMORPG's out there.it has its own style and charm to it... however i do like FlyFF ^^ free and cute graphics however WoW is just lame -Josh

I can't say why others play but I play off and on, inbetween EQ2, Vanguard Beta,Lineage II, and Eve-Online, because I really enjoy the customization involved with the characters. most MMORPGs you can't directly change your attributes or stats, you can only buy or train skills which I think is lame. I enjoy having to use a caculator to carefully plan each stat point and skill.  Also there are more jobs in this then most other games and with the trans classes you get to change sprites 6 times! novice-1st job class-second job class- high novice- trans 1st job class-trans 2nd job class... just joking about the last part... Lastly I love that there are very few quest, I can't stand quest, they are so annoying. oh yes one more thing, I don't care for western character models I really like eastern style art and graphics (one reason I hate WoW and WAR) I play EQ2 with the "Alternate" models turned on.

Well i like Easter and western types of game.
Also i like quests and stuff like that. I know that Ro doesn't have them, but still...
about the jobs - RO isn't a game with many based jobs. you can't count the after reborn jobs since it's basicly only a name upgrade and you get 4 new skills. if you would count like this, then i could say, that lineage 2 got 62 jobs.But since in this game you can set your own stats and skills, there are many different types of a same job.For example, like i said before there are agi monks, and asura monks.which means that a player can choose different ways with every job.

ok so here comes the question again.. why do i like this game. Nice ppl, anime style characters, many dungeons to explore,  alot of skills and card enhancement system.

I HATE HATE HATE Ragnarok Online. But the community is fantastic!
When I played I made a few friends that I could meet IRL and awesome friends across the seas. It's definitely a fun game, w/ friends.
However the grind is so dull and the game itself is so dull, it's hard to "stick it out" and wait for the fun.

     i really like how the characters look like coz` they are soooo cute..plus i also like the fact that most players here are so friendly...
