Without revealing a specific timeline Blueside CEO Sang-Youn Lee has shared some of the forthcoming content additions to Kingdom Under Fire II that include two new classes (unofficially named Elf Master and Dark Mage), new NPC units, high-level PvE content named Epic War, new PvP modes, maps, balance fixes and more. 2p.com has subtitled a recent interview where some of these plans are revealed. The Chinese version of Kingdom Under Fire II has a new trailer available featuring the elven ranger. The video shows plenty of gameplay action. The new class will be entering the game later in May so be sure to check out her abilities and equipment by watching the video below.
So what is Kingdom Under Fire II? KUF2 (much easier) is a merging of the spirit of earlier Kingdom Under Fire titles with a new beautiful engine. In short, KUF2 is a cross between RTS, RPG and MMO. Playing out in front of me it looked like the sort of thing Peter Jackson dreams about when he considers battle scenes.

There's something undeniably epic about commanding several squads of troops into battle and running pell-mell after them with reckless abandon. Blueside's new MMORPG, Kingdom Under Fire II (KUF2), somehow manages to give you an RTS-style feel of tactically directing groups of minions around the battlefield, while retaining the single-character progression and combat that have become hallmarks of modern action MMOs.
The next English closed beta phase for the Leadhope version of Kingdom Under Fire II is scheduled to begin on Friday, April 25th. Leadhope has also announced that European and North American players can indeed take part in the beta!
Leadhope Digital has let us know that beta applications are now being taken via its official Kingdom Under Fire II site. Interested players are invited to head to the site to fill out the application. This key give away is for residents of the Philippines only.
Blueside has released a brand new Kingdom Under Fire II trailer that offers players the first look at what are called "Cities & Fields". A pair of locations within the game are spotlighted, the city of Accolade and the field called Crossroad Heights.
