If you're going to stick it out there, don't be afraid if you get it cut off. |

Not worth it. Stick to the popular MMORPGs.

Hell, play the unpopular ones. They're still better than FoM |

If you're into roleplay, social interaction, politics, and economics, then go for it. Don't listen to these idiots, they're most likely corporate slaves who play anything that's mainstream, just because it's popular or featured in advertisements a lot.

The game has a lot of negative things about it, but also a lot of
positive things. Its not a game aimed to host 1000s of players at once,
and isn't the corporate money making type of game. Its just aimed to be
a very fun Roleplaying game. From milestone 2 information you can tell
they want to make it less of an FPS action shooter and give it more RP
content.
Anyway, we enjoy the game, but it isn't really something great, its just special (unique). You yourself can effect outcomes of events in the game....no quests...player made missions. A good battle really gets your adrenaline going cause its such a rush if you know how to fight. I just highlighted a bunch of pros about the game.....still a lot of cons....can be laggy, you get kicked off the game or pingout several times a day. Lots of bugs and bug abusers and macro users some with aimbots *cough* kenta *cough*. But there is nothing like this game, so those dumbasses who posted above are just ignorant, since they can't admit to themselves that this game isn't for them. Its a great game in a way, and a lot of people enjoy it otherwise they wouldn't still be playing it. This game can really have its moments to be honest. When aliens are finally put in, things for the game will definitley change (hopefully for the better). Have to put something up! |

What will aliens do to the game? Are they AI factions that are enemies to the player factions? Or will players actually be able to play the aliens?

not about being unique game, its just a boring ass game lol. has no central goal, graphics are flaky and amatuerish.sound corny, player made missions, yeah thats unique Ill give it that, but if thats the only thing it has going ill pass. there is no meat or substance to the game, nothing as user that I can bite onto it and enjoy immerse myself. i think your right, your entitled to your opinion and will play it and it wont have thousands upon thousands of users. being a person who played this game, i found it horribly ineffective to keep my attention for more than 2 weeks. Think it needs to fundamentally uprooted and changed completely.
oh yeah you named alot of negatives that make me feel they dont deserve my money. not one thing that you named positive was even ....well positive lol. if anything i think you alienated more people. 3.4ghz Phenom II X4 965, 8GB PC12800 DDR3 GSKILL, EVGA 285 GTX 1GB, 640GB HD SATA II, BFG 1000WATT PSU. It's pretty obvious you're the type of gamer who likes to be told what to do by the game. This is an open-ended sandbox game, it doesn't have quests that tell you to go kill 5 rats so you can feel good about yourself afterwards. While it's true that the game needs more content and things for folks to do, I still find the game quite enjoyable in a way others are not. On the other hand, I find other games enjoyable in ways this one is not. It's just a question of what I'm in the mood for. For instance, if I'm in the mood for a real FPS, it's WWIIOnline hands down. Combat in this game is not it's strong point, but it's perfectly adequate for the conflict resolution mechanism that it is. If I'm in the mood to play the money game, the crafting system and economy in FoM is probably second only to SWG pre-cu. And then there's the political intrigue side of things. Admittedly, this sort of thing isn't everybody's cup of tea, but I find it to be some fascinating sociology to watch (and I'm NOT an RP'er). If you want to get a good idea of the nature of the game, watch the old Sean Connery movie "OUTLAND".. |
