Hello. Would you recommend this game to someone who uses text chat only? Are there major portions of the game that are inaccessable to someone who uses text chat only? |

It is possible, only if faction chat is used. Which it isn't, only to tell you missions are up, but if some action happens some where, it is usually told over ventrilo, no one has time to stop and type "I am getting shot at here on so and so place" So most of the time you will be left out of the loop and not know what is going on if you don't use voice chat. |

all depends on what faction/ what you want to play, for fighting, ventrilo or TS is preferable, but CMG, for instance, dont fight as much as BoS, so we use voice chat less |

The community opens up to you a lot more when you use voice com. The world just seems to barren without it.

Text chatting, Ventrilo, TS, whatever suits your appropriate sort of method for basic communication or further....

Now, take Ventrilo or TS for instance....you speak, it's done. Simple as that....so convenient. Even though you wish not to speak due to whatever reasons, you can still listen in and be attentive of whatever situation that beckons you to assist in a minutes notice. Hence, which is why I switched to Vent. Cheers. |
