I finally got everything working last night, created my character and joined FDC. Apparently, this was a bad choice because Ikept getting pk'd before I had any idea what was going on (and this was still within Ground Zero). hehe

So I had the brilliant idea to delete the character, getting no warning that I'd be unable to create another one for 24 hours.

I seriously have read up on this game to a decent extent and read the forums on FOM and thought I could handle it. But after the first death left me completely defenseless, I have no clue. The tutorial walks through the interface well enough, but when I go to an "Allied" area I guess I assumed that every pc I came across wouldn't hate me and KOS. Clearly, I have alot to learn about open PVP :)

Well if ur more of a RP guy u should go for either LED,FDC and GOM. If ur intrested in action and killing u should go for EC and MoTB and ofcourse BOS

Oh and the factions AE and AC are gonne be replaced by "Vortex inc" in a month so no reason to choose those two right now.

heheh, I went with CMG, but I'm not sure that choice was any better. I can honestly say I have no idea what's going on in the game. I'm still trying though!

Ah, so the new engine is up now? I guess it's time for me to jump back in. I was getting a little tired of the game. Then I heard they were working on a new engine. Even if the engine is simply asthetic (sp) that's enough to bring me back in.

Well its not all new, they are working on the changes big patch is comming up with a partial wipe for the new player models and deleteing of AE and AC, to bring in Vortex inc instead.

Ganking is at a all time low and pple are beginning to act like they are suposed to and yeah comming back now so close to retail is a good idea

login to www.fomportal.com and you should see a "subscriber" link on that link the should be char details click on it and delete it [Warning, when deleteing your old char you will have to wait 24 hours before you can make a new one if its been less then 24 hours since you made your first one]

PS: Join EC, get on faction chat and ask for an HRD player, these are people we have too help new player`s in our faction.
