1. How long will it take me to be competitive? Will I have to kill rats for 6 months before i wont get killed in 2 hits? 2. Gear or skill based . Counter strike is 1, world of warcraft is 5, typical korean grind games are 10. Where would this game fall on how gear based it is. 3. How instanced is this game? Is it a 'MMO' where the largest form of combat is nothing larger than what I would find in a counter strike server? 4. The point of the game. I have heard this game is somewhat like eve where you have guilds/corps holding territory which get fought over. |

1. Right away. No levels or skill points.
2. Gear with a bit of skill. Most 'good' fighters are loade dup on boosters, high quality armor and weapons.
3. Not instanced, but not as open as Planetside.
4. The point of FoM is relative. 80% of the people who still play are just gankers -- thanks to a weak willed developer. |
