ANaKeR Novice Member Joined: 6/10/04 Posts: 3	7/02/04 3:48:26 PM#26 Report this post Explain why you are reporting this post: (750 characters max.) one of the head Administrators of the forums (not part of the developing team i dont think) seems to think it wont be released until September. http://forum.fomk.com/showpost.php?p=44904&postcount=19 i feel that their is a good chance that there will be an open beta at least a couple of weeks before release, but i could be wrong. i just wish the developers would give us a little more insight into the game and how exactly each device works. even another trailer would be nice considering that one is pre-beta.

Hi folks, just a little Update on the situation: Marko Dieckmann, CEO of Duplex-Systems, announced that there will not be an official release date, or a releasedate for open beta until the company is 100 % sure to keep it. Thats great to hear from developers, but unfortunately they tend to forget that as their sponsors/share holders start to demand some profit for all the investements. Been waiting this game so long that I tend to forget it still does exists and there really is some effort happening for release. Just have to keep on waiting and hoping and praying

If you're going to say something like that at least mention a source, give a link, something. Don't just propogate rumors. Also, whenever a company is in negotiations with a publisher they aren't able to release information about it until the deal has been finalized. Duplex Systems could be entertaining any number of publishers right now but wouldn't be able to make an announcement about it. dude, you need to calm down....take it easy man
paravion Novice Member Joined: 7/19/04 Posts: 434	1/01/05 4:08:02 AM#31 Report this post Explain why you are reporting this post: (750 characters max.) it was supposed to be released in Q2 2004 but after realizing many of the big titles like EQ2 and WoW were also planning to release around that time they decided to push the release date for later release to avoid the competition and conflicts with the big titles. in the meantime, they are working their asses off to improvise and improve the game. this will be a fine game because you will not find anything so similar to the revolutionary gameplay of this game.
