  • The Progression Server

    To the joy of veterans around the world, EverQuest devs and Sony Online Entertainment recently launched a pair of brand new 'progression servers'. Both servers quickly shot to capacity as players began playing EQ on an even keel with fellows. MMORPG.com's Adam Tingle was one of those who gleefully launched himself on the progression server.   • New Community Manager

    Everquest players are introduced to a new community manager via a letter posted to EQ Station. Eric "Piestro" Cleaver has announced himself as the new CM and as a longtime Everquest player. The letter goes into a bit of detail about what exactly he plans to bring to the EQ community.

  • House of Thule Launches

    Sony Online Entertainment has announced that the seventeenth EverQuest expansion, House of Thule, has been successfully launched on all servers. House of Thule brings on board several major changes including a level cap increase, eighteen raids, thirteen zones, seventeen missions, more than 120 quests and the addition of player housing.

  • 11th Anniversary Festivities; Steam Sale

    EverQuest turns 11 today, and Sony Online Entertainment has kicked off 11 days of events to mark the occasion! The anniversary festivities include three new events: the Gifts of Steel Group Event, Stealing My Life Back Mission, and Steel Behemoths Raid. Steam is also offering a sale on the original EverQuest and all 15 expansions for the ridiculously low price of $2.50 from March 16th through March 26th.
