    EverQuest players now have a terrific way to update and upgrade their characters' armor sets with the release of Hero's Forge. With the new feature, players can change the visual look of their armor as well as discover upgrades via achievements, missions, NPC drops, raids and raid bosses.

    Sony Online Entertainment is reporting that unique log ins to EverQuest are up 150% since the game went free to play last month. Concurrent user counts are up 40% as are new registrations for the classic game.

    Sony Online Entertainment has announced that the hybrid subscription-free to play model of EverQuest will officially launch on the game's 13th birthday.
