Hey folks!

I tried Everquest. It's great fun! The people in the game were all so helpfull and friendly, the classes are how they should be and the whole gameplay has this "oldschool"-charme I really like. The problem is, that I haven't got that much spare time. I have got a girlfriend, play in a quite successful local punk band, go to school and try to spend time with my friends. But sometimes I like playing MMOs, listening to music and doing dungeons with nice people online. I could play due the week only, the weekend is completely full with band practice/shows. I could 1-4 hours a day, monday till tuesday. Is it even worth starting Everquest with so "few" time (in MMO relations)? Or do EQ-raids take more than 4 hours? It would be cool, if I could reach some things in the game without playing that much. I don't want to be disappointed at high lvl just because I can't spend that much time and won't be successful.

Thanks for your answers!

Erm...yes.

I haven't played in about a year.  BUT.  when you get high levels, IF(and that's a big if) you have a good guild, you can get some raiding done in a few hours.  My guild was pretty good.  we raided about 4 hours and usually took out multiple targets.  Just try to find an active guild.  Most likely, the ones yelling in the guild lobby are not very big.  I personally only raided once or twice a week.  Usually grouped or Solo'd.

Go through the tutorial,  gets you lvl 10, moderate gear and the basis for the controls.  you can solo pretty well to start, and you can sometimes find a nice person to help you out with gear and cash.
