You can also read this thread for some Underfoot lore: forums.station.sony.com/eq/posts/list.m === The Underfoot is supposed to exist deep below the surface of Norrath. There is a great sealed door at the bottom of The Hole that is supposed to lead there, as well as rumors of a portal beneath Crushbone (from the books). Many of the creatures that dwell beneath Norrath's surface worship Brell, form Dwarves to Gnolls. It's possible that these races might ahve found a new portal to the Underfoot as well. i know this link says EQ2 but this quote pertains to Everquest
(Underfoot) will launch with 12-15 zones, with bonus zones being added through April 2010. It will include a new achievement tracking system and double the amount of weapons of any other expansion.

A guild mate had posted some information he had gotten while at the Fan Fair and it seems like some pretty cool stuff is in the works. I'm wondering how much more SOE will do since Freerealms is becoming so popular.

Seems like every expansion Sony released for EQ is a wasted opportunity to do something truely unique, to bring players back. All they care about is maintaining, they don't care about growing. It's very sad |
