Would you join A server that was Hardcore. If You Die then it would be over.Base on PvP.

Few years Ago Everquest released a server what had all of that.but it was a promo for Gates Of...Forgot the name . the server was full and it felt great. you Had to fight for items and make packs with players then they would not have pwn you.N  take your things

Hope They Make One Again like That

No..

It would be pointless, the only PvP that would be happening would either be a high levels ganking newbies or gangs killing the solo'ers.

Everquest is not like WoW.  You cannot simply bubble hearth.  You cannot stun someone then mount up and fly away.  Mobs do not lose aggro if you walk 15 feet from where they started.  If a hardcore server were to open, noone would play because noone would be able to reach level cap, and if they did, they would never raid cuz GOOD LUCK trying to do a raid without dieing.  In fact there are raids where you cannot avoid dieing.  Try explaining that to the guy who just lost his toon.

The name of the server was "Gates of Discord"

It was extremely popular. I made it to lvl54 before getting ganked by 4 people. I managed to kill 2 because they were all lvl40s, but alas...i died.

I wasn't really upset either. I had a lot of fun.

I loved the Discord server. It was such an exciting environment, with people in zones warning everyone when danger was near. When dying is for real, every encounter is heart-pounding! I was always disappointed that the EQ developers ignored the frequent requests on discussion boards to reinstate the server--great, ignore the requests of your customers!
