I thought I'd add my thoughts as well for others interested in this game:

Just started this week, and so far I'm having a lot of fun. It is a well made turn based card game, kind of like magic the gathering mixed with heroes of might and magic. Although I have only seen others play these games, I definitely see many similar traits in KaL from my limited knowledge of both of these games. Game play is a lot of fun; it is really easy to join groups to take down bosses. I typically can only play 1-2 hrs a day if that, so I can pick up where I left off without feeling like I lost out. From what I've seen everyone has the same potential to gain cards, which makes the cash shop agreeable in my terms, although I wouldn't use it.I can't really see myself playing this too long, but for this past week it has been more fun than some of the other games I've been trying in my spare time, ei: diablo 3/gw 2.

Free addicting gameplay, what more can you ask for - give it a try.

Surprisingly addictive!! I've been trying a few different online TCGs while waiting for Hex and this is the one that has hooked me in.

Nice mix of PvE and PvP, and of solo and small group. And a lot of different forms of advancement to work on.

Definitely worth checking out!

You can't even begin to imagine the progress and mounds of updates KaL has been doing this past year. It's just getting better and better! A round of applause please for the GMs and game creators!
