Saidoken writes: Amazing game. Recently returned, and they've added so many improvements. Makes the game a lot more noob friendly, in a good way. Still hardcore at the top levels. You can get a endgame viable pvp character in a week, if you join a nice guild and they farm you through the prowess feats. Incredible Castle Sieges, Large Group PvP. Beautiful, seamless world. A combat system with no targeting, it feels like Oblivion or Skyrim, but massively multiplayer! I have 2 week free trials if you want, just message me. Sun Aug 17 2014 7:12AM

dawiss writes: This is probably the best game focused on PvP on the market. Great battle system and the continued development of the game can impress. It is one of the few games that can pull in a number of weeks so boring as the MMORPG market... Sat Jul 12 2014 8:28AM
sludgebeard writes: I played Darkfall Unholy Wars about a year ago with some friends. Needless to say I was the only one of us 4 that stayed and played past 5k prowess. I ended up joining a mildly successful clan. Fought an ice dragon aboard our ship in the middle of the ocean. Established a home base that was conquered in less time that we had spent building it up. Lost all my gear multiple times to gankers, and once fought 4 guys in a cave killing all of them by myself only to be backstabbed by an adventurer I thought was my friend and again had my stuff taken. I then built ships for a living until I left the game with the dissolution of my clan. Flashforward to now, im returned to a much more stable and well put together game, adventuring on my own in the world for now, regaining my strength and planing my eventually rise to clan battle again. This game has only gotten better and still serves a better MMO experiance than 95% of the AAA releases we haveseen in the past year. Community service and dev insight is at an all time high. If your joining the game, do it now. Fri Jul 11 2014 1:23AM
Senensis writes: I had been weary of trying that game because of the bad press it had the past year(s). I am now hooked. Character development is great, combat is involving, community is overall mature and nice (bare the loudmouths). AV is also pushing hard in the right direction and communicating a lot. This already great game is getting better every day. The learning curve might be steep at first, but it is worth surviving the first few hours and watch the game open up (with the help of your mentor, best new player feature ever). Boneblade writes: Darkfall is a unique and amazing full-loot PvP game that stands somewhere between Skyrim and EvE online, but is really a beast all its own. It plays like a very challenging FPS, with all skills and basic attacks being manually aimed and your success or failure determined by skill alone. Depending on your gaming background, Darkfall's UI and tutorial may seem a bit archaic but overall the game is very accessible and the community does an excellent job of providing information and assistance to new players. If you are tired of the same boring grind without any depth, if you want massive siege battles and player driven global politics, if you want a game where skill matters more than gear, you want Darkfall.
