Before this week's MMOFTW, I'd never even heard of this game (thanks, Bill!).

As an old Battletech player, I've a soft spot for mech games.  Though I've tried Perpetuum (didn't take), it's nice to see this game, along with Mechwarrior Online, in production.

Does anyone know more of the story behind Hawken?

Thanks for the response, I'd seen some of that before, but not all of it.  Not a big fan of the live-action trailers, but the gameplay videos are very good.

The game definitely looks interesting.

Nice to see it listed, I sent in a request for MMORP.com to track this a couple of months ago.

I'm taking a shot of vodka every time I see a reference to a game being a WoW or Diablo clone.
