Eldevin has a character advancement system which allows players complete freedom when assigning
talents and attributes. One of the talent trees players can use is that of the Templar.
The Templar is a heavily armored fighter, skilled in the use of shields and the protection of allies. Templar talents grant the player more benefits from healing, more threat generation from abilities, greater use of heavy armor and much more.

Here are some Templar abilities described:
Taunt provokes the players target, encouraging it to attack him and leave weaker allies alone. Every player can learn Taunt, however there are talents in the Templar tree which reduce its cooldown and add damage dealing to the basic Taunt ability. Taunt will most likely be vital to players fulfilling the role of Tank.
Inspiration inspires allies in your group with your heroism. Group members will take less damage while they are inspired. Each talent tree has a group buff ability which compliments their role for group oriented players.
With the Vindicate ability the player infuses his shield with the power of light to bash the enemy for a considerable amount of damage. At the same time it debuffs the foe to be more susceptible to the player's attacks for a duration. There is also a talent for Templars which increases the damage caused by Vindicate.

We are quite sure that players will find the Templar Spec a fun and useful way to play, though we are most looking forward to the interesting and unexpected ways they will use the Templar abilities in combination with other character specs!
