Tibia News - Fraud Warning

Tibia is warning it's player base against fraud. Recently, some fraudulent e-mails have been sent around containing a link that leads to a hacksite. The developers are re-asserting that these e-mails were not sent through official channels and should be ignored.

We would like to remind you to protect your account carefully against any hacking attempts. Recently, many players have received emails in which they were asked to enter a link to find out if their accounts have been effected by a bug. On first view, the link appears to direct you to the official site but in fact it links players to a hacksite. This email was not sent by us.
Please be extremely careful with links that are sent to you in an email. Always verify that you are on the official website www.tibia.com before you enter your account number or your password. If you would like to enter the official website, we strongly recommend you manually type www.tibia.com
