@FeralLoki, no it isn't. Have you even been paying attention to any of their demonstations, or announcement vidoes? They clearly show you that the game is a lobby based FPS game with 3rd-party metagaming as "commanders". It isn't an MMO, sorry.
its not really a RTS. when you first join you pick either american or german (cause ww2 was clearly only german vs yankees...) then you have your basic rifle man (buying weapons changes its class. bazooka = AT .. scoped rifle = scout/sniper)
then you join the battles on the world map. thats it. you apply to join the battle.. load in to the map/match and play until you or they run out of spawn pool points or the map is won/lost.
its not an MMOrts or even an MMO fps :/ its just an FPS with a persistant campain...
i havent played the game in over a month do to the crippling bugs their server had. ... plus i use chrome which is now screwing them over :/ cause their game is no in the chrome store...
by fighting battles you get rewards which you can "buy" more units (tanks, planes and so on) which will streghten your side. you can also ,as you side, upgrade them with newer/better weapons.
the FPS battles have an impact on the RTS map which never happens in BF3. the battles over the euro map are 24/7. also if global agenda is "classed" as a MMOFPS i would class this as well as a MMO. just my opinion

The website has not been about MMOs for a long time. This games fall under the same category as World of Tanks. Multiplayer game with MMO elements.

HnG is less of an MMO then WoT is, you dont have to have a level to use any kit. just money. if you want to drive tanks or planes you just need enough money to buy an combat team with tanks/planes to use them in a battle. or join a battle with them. if you want to use scopes you just have to get money to buy the scoped guns then join a battle with scout units.
wot you actually have to level up to use tanks by unlocking tanks kits/parts to unlock the next type of tanks..
even the HnG new leveling system isnt much of an mmo element. its like playing TF2 and calling the highest point player the team leader :/
Not an MMO, so i'm not sure why this is on here?

If this is an MMO, then Battlefield 3 is an MMO.
