very nice combat, nice pace to the fightes as well , will deffinetly keep checking this game. Not a lot of games of this quality on the market at the moment. Very diffrent feel to arena base combat as well. IMO alfa looks 10 out of 10.

It's insane for being the first open alpha test. They have 2 patches, one which will be at PAX and another that will be released after that one. Right now is the worst state the game will ever be in and seeing as how refined and amazing the gameplay is, that is saying something. Plus the indie price is ridiculous for such a polished game in this early state.

Also remember people, there is NO NDA whatsoever. Go ahead and fraps and stream as much as you like. There are EU + Russian servers, US servers and Australian servers. Enjoy!

Interesting game,seems to have some quality to it as well.Strange i never heard of it lol :(.

I think i have been tainted by my love for UT99 in pvp,i have never seen a game match it's weaponry and thinking that it brought to the pvp genre.

Once Epic opened up pvp to larger outdorr worlds i found the fun factor and strategy was lost.

IMO it is because the BEST pvp is all about the maps.The UT community knew this and is why so many have their favorite maps.Without stratigical map play the skill level of pvp drops off a lot.I think this is why i do not enjoy pvp in Fantasy or magic rpg settings.It becomes more about remembering auto sequences.

If going to be an outdoor map you need a selection of attacks that cover all apsects of melee/short range/mid range and long range.You would need strategic points like rocks for cover and avenues that allow a player to escape to regroup or create a trap.You need ways for a player to be ab le to hamper vision ,to basically be able to lose his predator.

What i have seen in every Fantasy rpg based PVP is just players stand out in the open and spam their best dps and of course utilize healing methods.Just as in UT when they encorporated the dbl jump,i do not like any kind of unrealistic super jumps or flying around.I really enjoyed the DODGE technique and the way it was done.
