I started playing this Dayz map today, the one thing I like is every town ive been to thus far I could enter every building, but what I didnt like it its so easy to be spotted, its mostly barren desert everywhere ive been.

But its given back the excitment of a map I know nothing about, loved that part of Chernarus XD

Im hoping that Dayz Standalone will have a completly custom map designed for it :)

It won't, it will be a modified chernarus (more enterable houses)

i just booted up Dayz again today afte a few months away.....first rock formation i got close to i broke a leg (wtf?!) then i spent 2 more hours crawling all over the place only to, all of a sudden, get teleported to some random part of the map where 3 fully geared dudes were waiting for me with assault rifles....

.....nothing but hackers and bugs is what left of this mod. so sad, but i'm done with it.

Well the mod is unsupported pretty much now because they are making an actual game of it.

I have never broke my leg on a rock though, best way around it is to just run to the hospital as soon as you spawn and get morphine then start your adventure from there.
