DarkBlood Online Review

A overall speaking of DarkBlood Online and how it appeals.

DarkBlood Online, this is one of the newer MMO games currently. It IS out of Beta Testing and is on for full launch. The game itself offers a pretty intense experience, right at the start it gives you the chance to really see the future of your character's power and abilities, unlocking 6 flashy but obtainable skills demonstrating the class' overall style, this will give you a expectation of the game.

Now, as far as the graphics go - It mixes the indepth deep detailed characters with simple but likeable atmosphere. It definitely has a dark somewhat knitty-gritty sense, body parts flying across the screen and blood spewing over the ground. The main warning to this is it's 2D/3Dish due to it having a sense of earlier style like your basic arcade fighting games did.

Next is the gameplay - This is definitely where credit is due, PvE has it's perks, you can Solo dungeons and stand a chance unlike some games, but you can also find yourself a group and team up as well. The game's Combo system is nothing less than excellent there are endless combinations of abilities you can perform, utilizing the Link passive skills. As for PvP, your not going to have the perfect lag-free match you desire all the time but using the peer to peer connection, will usually make it fair. PvP is QUITE balanced, if anything this game deserves props for really getting their PvP system to demonstrate the player's skills, your combo's length and power are what will really decide the match the PvP style matches enhances your stats to almost equal levels even if your level difference is great.

Shopping and Money - Starting off to say that they do good work with this. A shop offers, you a whole set of armor and a weapon or two for each class. They're are also goblin merchants in front of the dungeon entrances, selling level based item boxes that offer a chance to recieve a Special, Rare or Mystic Item either weapon or armor. Money is quite easy to make just by doing quests AND/OR selling your basic items then keeping the rare items to sell off in the Auction House.

Items and Equipment - The equipment rarity system goes in order, Normal/Special/Rare/Mystic/Unique Rare+ vareity will be bound to you on equip. There is an upgrade on this game like any other as well as a forging system for costume items (You'll want to do this if your not a big spender on the Auction House) The item Mall contains things anywhere from Dyes to costume sets, this is the only way to obtain a pet.

Leveling System - The experience on here isn't going to take you day and night for each level, you can find a few people and grind your experience on the bigger dungeons or you can follow the quests and pick up more money along a slower track of progression on the map.

Clan/Guild: Yes, these get quite involved as well with quests and skills and wars. So have fun with them
