I guess if you are a real lore buff you might want to read and do every quest in the new area.  otherwise seems like most will find out which quests/areas deliver the new armor and weapon upgrades and head straight to those areas.

 

bottom line is, i wonder how not being on a level treadmill will affect my playstyle.  only one way to find out...
